Description
Class 5.2 organic peroxide substances contain carbon (organic) structures linked by a double oxygen bond (peroxide). Thus the fuel and the oxygen are together in the same molecule, making them even more liable to ignition than a separate combustible material.
Eg: Hydrogen Peroxide, Benzol Peroxide, Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide.
Class 5.2 labels are designed to stick to Emergency Information Panels (EIP’s), shipping containers, IBC’s and hazardous gas substances stored or transported.
