Class 4.2 Spontaneously Combustible materials that will catch fire if exposed to air without any heat being applied (that is, the heat from the normal air is sufficient for them to catch fire – no other source of heat is required).
Eg: White Phosphorous, Fish meal, Cotton Waste, Hay or Straw, Peat, Sugar, Metal powders, Celluloid, Soybean products.
Class 4.2 Spontaneously Combustible labels are designed to stick to Emergency Information Panels (EIP’s), shipping containers, IBC’s and hazardous gas substances stored or transported.
